CBEE 2018 Application Form & Eligibility


CBEE 2018 Examination is conducted by JNU – Jawaharlal Nehru University in terms of admitting eligible students mainly in PG Bio technology courses. Examination centers are maintained in various important cities in India.

CBEE Exam Centers:

  • Pondicherry University in Pondicherry
  • Annamalai University in Tamilnadu
  • University of Allahabad in Allahabad
  • University of North Bengal in Silliguri
  • Sardar Patel University in Gujarat
  • Tezpur University in Assam

CBEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants of Under Graduate degree completion will be allowed to take up CBEE Examination in related fields
  • Only when they are qualified, they will be allowed to take upCBEE 2018 entrance test
  • Candidates have to read prospectus completely in terms of getting qualified
  • Candidates must satisfy eligibility criteria in terms of taking up CBEE test

CBEE 2018 Application Form:

  • CBEE 2018 Application forms are obtainable during the month of February
  • Candidates have to fill all details, only then they can submit forms during 2ndweek of March month
  • CBEE Examination will be held during May month
  • Candidates can attend CBEE test directly at the University campus
  • In order to attend CBEE test, candidates can choose nearest locality
  • Only candidates those who have good percentage of marks will be allowed to apply for scholarship. Students are eligible to avail scholarship amount of Rs. 3000
  • Students are needed to maintain aggregate marks of 60% in all semesters, only then they are awarded scholarship

CBEE 2018 Syllabus & Pattern:

  • CBEE Examination is consisting of Objective Type questions and for each question, 4 options are given and we have to choose the right option. Sometimes candidates are needed to brief their answers shortly
  • Medium of instruction is English
  • Candidates are selected and admissions will be given only based on marks secured in CBEE entrance test along with Under Graduate marks
  • Candidates have to respect norms and regulations according to the institution

CBEE Seats Allocation:

  • Scheduled category candidates are allotted 15% of seats
  • Scheduled Tribe candidates are given 7 ½ seats
  • Physically Challenged candidates are given 3% of seats

If candidates of reserved category fail to secure minimum marks, they are not eligible to attend CBEE test. According to rules and regulations, OBC category candidates are given seats and they are not given any concession.
