COMEDK PG 2018 Application Form & Eligibility


A state level common entrance test is organized by the COMEDK and this is common to all aspiring candidates. Every year candidates are examined using COMEDK Examination and candidates must come up with certain eligibility criterion. Candidates with secured scores will be considered as eligible in terms of undertaking PG courses in Dentistry and Medicine discipline and candidates can obtain degree from all recognized colleges of COMEDK, Karnataka. Test scores of this examination will be considered as eligible and Centralized council will follow all regulations. Rank list will be published in the results page of official website of COMEDK PG.

Eligibility Criteria followed in COMEDK PG examination:

  • COMEDK PG examination is conducted to all eligible Indian residents
  • Candidates should have membership either from MCI or DCI
  • Candidates those who have membership from MCI or DCI, they will be allowed to undertake this examination
  • Exam duration will be 2 months
  • Candidates those who have passed MBBS/BDS will be considered as eligible in terms of undertaking COMEDK PG examination and they must have to complete their Under Graduate degree only from recognized colleges or universities
  • Candidates must complete their Internship in order to attain eligible criterion in terms of undertaking this test
  • Candidates are needed to satisfy all rules and regulations under the MCI/DCI and all such candidates are passed theCOMEDK PG 2018
  • Candidates with permanent registration from MCI /DCI will also be considered as suitable and they are given admission
  • Before one month of admission date, Candidates are given eligibility

Minimum percentage of COMEDK PGET 2018:

  • Candidates from General category have to secure 50% of minimum marks in this entrance test
  • Special category candidates from SC and ST castes will have to secure 40% of minimum marks in this entrance test and this is common among all students of India
  • Candidates from OBC category of state Karnataka can just secure 40% of marks in this entrance test and this is also considered as one of the eligibility criterion among all Karnataka candidates
