NTSE 2018 – National Talent Search Examination(NTSE):

NTSE is expanded as National Talent Search Examination and notifications are released every year by the same examination board. NTSE is conducted mainly for candidates those who have achieved 10th standard education with merit scores will be identified among students. Talent levels of candidates are improved by means of this test and accordingly students can nurture their skill level in different sorts of fields. NTSE 2018 Exam is undertaken in two levels every year and there are several major stages such as Stage I and Stage II examinations. Eligible candidates can avail scholarship benefits of 1000 numbers and there are various stages available even in obtaining scholarship benefits.

  • 1250 is charged as the scholarship per month to 11thand 12th standard students
  • 2000 is charged as the scholarship per month and this is valid for any selected UG and PG courses
  • Scholarship amount is fixed for Ph.D candidates according to the UGC norms

NTSE 2018 Reservation Policies:

  • According to the NTSE reservation policies, candidates of reserved categories are getting 15% of scholarships and especially SC or ST category candidates are reserved 7.5% of scholarship benefits

NTSE 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Interested students must complete their qualifying education and mainly 10thstandard education completion is important to everyone those who wish to attend the test
  • Eligible candidates can appear for the stage I test and both of these tests are conducted by the UTs or States and these schools are located in important places
  • Indian domiciled candidates and foreign domiciled candidates can undertake the examination
  • Students have to register their names under ODL – Open Distance Learning and accordingly they are attaining eligibility for scholarship and other benefits
  • Candidates have to complete 18 years of age as on first week of July month
  • Aspirants those who appear in the final year of qualifying education will also be considered as eligible

NTSE 2018 Admission Procedure:

  • Stage I is the selection round and candidates will be processed by the respective state or UTs and accordingly they get qualified in further levels of tests. Eligible students can appear for the stage II exam which is conducted by the NCERT

NTSE 2018 Important Dates:

  • Admission forms submission has to be done before last dates as per prescription of the examiner. These dates are notified by the same respective state which will vary from one state to other state
